Our cooperation with the Odisee College in Belgium was recently featured in Het Nieuwsblad, a leading Belgian Newspaper! The article, titled 'Odisee College sends their students across the whole world', shows the many ways in which Odisee students can perform an internship abroad. August 2015. A team of volunteers lands in Bangkok. Their task: install five computer classes at primary and secondary schools in the provinces of Roi-Et, Buriram and Surin, and repair & update all classes installed in the last three years. Timeframe: two weeks. Impossible? Not for this team: Klaas Vandeweerdt from Deloitte and Jelle Slowack and Yvan Piens from Delaware Consulting.

On March 9th and 10th, Arnold and Brigitte Raicher, representatives of Fund Isaan sponsor 3AMB visited our organisation in Thailand. Together with Fund Isaan founder Rony Wuytjens, they visited schools and scholarship students and even had the chance to hand over scholarships for the next term.

In October 2014, Fund Isaan was visited by reporters and a camera crew from the National News Bureau of Thailand and Radio Thailand Surin. Articles about our activities were published in a magazine published by the news bureau in Surin and on their nation-wide websites. In June 2014, Fund Isaan installed 3 new computer classes in primary school throughout the Surin province. In the past, Fund Isaan has always worked with high schools, providing them with computer classes to aid in the development of Isaan’s youth. Over the years, we have seen that the Thai government has started more and more initiatives to provide technological education and materials such as computers to high schools.
