February 2025: Great News!

Fund Isaan has once again made a significant impact by donating 200 notebooks to rural schools in Surin and Ubon Ratchathani!

Thanks to the generous support of our sponsors, Thaise Vrienden Wevelgem and delaware, we successfully provided computers to schools in these provinces. The selection process was carefully managed by the Faculty of Science and Technology at Rajabhat University in Surin. Schools were invited to present their proposals, with a strong focus on integrating coding and STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics) education.

With funding secured, Fund Isaan purchased the computers from our trusted partner, Close The Gap. Once the devices arrived and cleared customs, our dedicated team of volunteers—alongside one of our scholarship students—got to work. They thoroughly tested each device, activated office software, and installed custom software, including acknowledgments of our valued sponsors.

The schools that received the donations are:

  • Ban Patamoh Primary School
  • Ban Nongornongsim School
  • Narai Kampong School
  • Tangjai School
  • Nabua School
  • Tanee School
  • Nongweang School
  • Nadi School
  • Berd School
  • Phusing School
  • Sripathum School

The official handover ceremony, including the signing of the Memorandum of Understanding, took place on February 27, 2025, at Surin Rajabhat University.

But that’s not all! Teachers from each school will now participate in a "teach the teacher" training at the university. After completing the program, each school will receive 10 Arduino starter kits to enhance their STEM lessons. Schools will also be required to submit regular reports on how they use the computers, ensuring they maximize their impact.

To ensure long-term success, representatives from the university and Fund Isaan will visit the schools to monitor progress and ensure the effective use of the donated equipment.

A huge thank you to everyone involved in making this initiative a success! Together, we are empowering students with the tools they need for a brighter future.
