Fund Isaan Alumni 2021: Bow

We first met Bow back in 2017. Her mother was living in Bangkok and had mental health issues, unable to support her family. Her father had left his wife when Bow was 3 years old. Bow lived with her grandmother and an uncle, but the house they were living in had been seized by the bank. They had barely enough money to buy food. Sometimes Bow went to school on an empty stomach.

Despite all this Bow was determined to build a better future for herself. She was studying accounting at Sangkha Technical College. We were very worried about Bow, but she did it! Earlier this year Bow graduated with a high certificate in Accounting from the same college. 

But it doesn't stop there. Weeks after her graduation Bow landed a good job in Samut Prakan province. She is now working full time in the accounting department of LF Logistics, responsible for the online sales for Zara. 

We are extremely proud of Bow! This is what she told us after her graduation:

"I have a high certificate in Accounting. I will now be able to take care of my family financially. I will buy my own house in the future. Thank you for all the opportunities that you have given me , for the kindness, caring and understanding. Thank you very much!"
