We met Eun for the first time in 2016. When she was in her fourth year of secondary school in Prasat. Eun had two siblings. One older sister was already studying at university. Her parents, small rice farmers, had to take a loan to pay for her studies. They could not effort a second child going to higher education. Yet Eun was a bright young girl and dreamed of becoming a language teacher. Impressed by her grades and determination Fund Isaan decided to grant Eun a scholarship.
Eun kept her promise and after secondary school she went to unviersity in Buriram studying English Communication. Recently Eun graduated with a bachelor degree in English Communication from Buriram Rajabhat University.
Eun and her family are extremely happy. Eun is now preparing for her teacher’s license exam to become a certified teacher, this will give her job certainty as a civil servant teaching at a public school. Meanwhile she is running a little shop selling stuff she buys at the early morning market. The shop is doing good!
Below is a message from Eun for her sponsor:
I would like to thank you for being so generous and sponsoring my education for five years. I would not have reached this milestone achievement without your generous support. My family and I deeply appreciate your kindness. Thank you very much.”
