We met Jane in 2017. Her parents were selling frogs and vegetables on the market. The business was just enough to pay for their daily expenses. They never made a real profit.
When Jane started her higher education at Thammasat university she had only one plan: helping people like her parents making a proper income.
When she graduated with a bachelor degree in Rural Development (Sustainable Development Technology) from Thammasat University in Bangkok a few months ago, she said:
"I would like to thank you for the biggest opportunity you have given me, I will use my study and experience to help my community and society!”
And that is exactly what she is doing. Today Jane is running the family farm, bringing in new profitable grops, decreasing the use of harmful products and developing new sales channels. Applying all the knowledge she gathered during her education to make it a profitable enterprise. She is committed to expand her horizon and help others once the pandemic is over and her family farm profitable.
