On Thursday 23rd of August 2018, Rony Wuytjens, the founder of Fund Isaan and the IT volunteers from delaware BeLux, Mikal Van Waeyenberghe, Joram Somers and Deloitte Belgium, Klaas Vandeweerdt met the press and talked about the Fund Isan Computer Classes Project 2018.
Between 14 to 23 of August 2018, with the huge support from delaware BeLux and Deloitte Belgium, Fund Isaan installed five new computer classrooms at five Schools in Surin and Roi-et province.
After the official ceremony at Prasat School, we had the opportunity to talked with the UMA (Union Media of Asean) about our three missions in the Isan Region.
Fund Isaan provides:
1) Non-repayable scholarships to children with high intellectual potential but limited financial means.
2) Computer classes (install and maintain) to different schools in the Isan region.
3) Well-prepared volunteers to several high schools in the Isan Region to help local teachers and students, raising the level of the English language courses.
We have granted scholarships to more than 260 students and more than hundreds have successfully graduated with a good jobs. We have also installed more than 35 computer classes at schools and provided countless volunteers to several high schools in the past years.
Hopefully, after this year we can do more.
