Nut received her first Fund Isaan scholarship in 2017 when she started her study at Boromarajonani College of Nursing in Surin. Nut has three siblings, her parents are farmers. Without support Nut would never have been able to continue her education and accomplish her dream to become a nurse. Boromarajonani college is known for its strict rules but also for the quality of its graduates. They guarantee each graduate a job at one of the hospitals they are affiliated with. In May 2021 Nut graduated with a bachelor degree in nursing.
She immediately started working at Surin Public Hospital. She has been vaccinated against the corona virus (2 times Sinovac and 1 time Pfizer). She is working on the Covid ward!
Below is a message we received from Nut:
“I am very proud to have graduated and passed the examination to become a registered Nurse. My parents are also very proud of me. I could not make it this far without your kind support. I wish you all the best. Please take care of yourself and stay safe. Thank you very much from the bottom of my heart for everything.”
We are extremely proud to see our alumni involved in the battle against the pandemic. "Giving back" to community in the real sense of the word! Thank you Nut!
